CATHERINE CLAYTON-SMITH IS A FINALIST IN THE SIR JOHN SULMAN PRIZE
We’re thrilled to announce that Catherine Clayton-Smith is a finalist in the Sir John Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales with her work ‘Rescue’. Congratulations Catherine!
‘Rescue’ integrates imagery and allegory from subjects such as a 14th-century painting of a blindfolded woman with 13 arms, the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue in Thailand, and the axolotl’s ability to regenerate limbs.’ – Catherine Clayton-Smith, 2023
